The game company from South Korea, “Crafton”, announced that it will close the game service “PUBG Lite” or Playernknown’s Battlegrounds lite version in all countries by the end of this month to be precise April 29, 2021.
Crafton has completely suspended the download of the PC-based PUBG Lite game from its website, and the official site is closed and all support for PUBG Lite players will end at the end of April.
PUBG Lite is very much in demand, especially gamers vloggers to play live streaming. Many players stream so that when they play the game they will be watched. The end of April will be an opportunity to inform players of the PC game version of the closure.
Crafton company did not provide a reason for closing the Lite version but based on the rumors, there are signs of incompatibility between PUBG Lite developers and Tencent company in recent months. The decision to discontinue this game will not affect PUBG Mobile.
