Anti-Cheat is Denuvo for PC Multiplayer Games
Denuvo is known as Denuvo Anti-Tamper, an anti-pirated system that makes games available on PC even harder to be hacked especially for multiplayer. Had experienced ups and downs when talking about the effectiveness of its products, Denuvo managed to re-prove himself through the last few releases which until now have not been available pirated. But Denuvo’s breakthrough didn’t stop there. They are now launching a new product called Denuvo Anti-Cheat.
Denuvo Anti-Cheat is a new system designed to prevent cheating in multiplayer based games. Irdeto – the company owner of Denuvo said that they have developed this system for the past three years and are proud to announce that this product is finally available on the market. The game from Bethesda and id Software – DOOM Eternal will be the first consumers of this new system, where Denuvo Anti-Cheat will protect the existing Battlemode mode. Denuvo said the anti-cheat system would install a kernel-level driver on your PC, with no information displayed on the screen at all.
Denuvo’s anti-cheat system will die every time it stops a video game that uses its services, and ensures that it will not take screenshots, check your file system, or send a shellcode without the gamer knowing it at all. The only information they will take is only related to operating system interactions and then sends it to Amazon’s server to just check the cheat. Gamers are also given the opportunity to delete this anti-cheat system from their computer whenever they want via the “Add or Remove Programs” option in Windows.
Not yet known what games will use the Denuvo Anti-Cheat system after this Doom Eternal. Very profitable for developers.
